Default Tri fin Wave and Cross 3 on the Horizon

Having just seen the translations, it looks like Exocet are treading the multi fin trail after all, at least more sensibly with a tri fin layout..

Billed as a true 'convertible' it obviously seams to suggest the new 3X can be used in either single fin or tri mode.

The copy claims extra horse power for early planing from the single fin and better drive range from onshore thru sideshore, fast and slow waves alike from the tri option.

It will be an interesting board to try, this author has long been a fan of tri fins.

Default Cross 3

The other news is that in it's 3rd incarnation the tried and fully tested Cross concept is to get a bit of a makeover and the addition of outer footstraps to enable blasting potential to what is essentially the quinessential bump and jump and intro to south coast waves board.

A slight change to the outline and refined rocker promises better control (hard to imagine, the Cross is just the nicest board to control) earlier planing and the ability to ride waves like a true wave board.

Another one to look forward to..
